Systems Note: Make the Home Base Useful

The site is becoming less of a destination I maintain separately and more of the home base for the actual work. The test is simple: can someone see the current projects, understand what is available, and take a sensible next step?

The direction

Content, build pages, newsletters, and tester entry points each have a job. The job is not to create more pages. It is to make the path between a project, its evidence, and its next action easier to follow.

That is why the small operational details matter: current video data, clear project status, working contact paths, and archive entries that explain the work without asking visitors to hunt through external platforms.

What this changes

When the home base is useful, every new release has somewhere durable to land. A video can point to a project page. A newsletter can point to a testing list. A project page can show what is real today rather than just what was planned.

Lesson learned

A website earns its place when it reduces friction for the next conversation. Keep the paths short, the claims current, and the work easy to verify.
